All Nippon Airways (ANA) will be introducing aircraft seat manufacturer RECARO's latest seat products on Premium Economy and Economy Class on its long-haul international flights operated with Boeing 787 aircraft.
Unveiled during the 2025 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, Germany, the new cabin products by German-based RECARO – the R3 Economy Class and R4 Premium Economy seats – will be gradually introduced aboard ANA's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft starting in FY2026.

Onboard its long-haul 787-9, the Premium Economy cabin will feature the R4 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration. Each R4 seat will have a 40 inch seat pich, an enhanced recline of about 2 inches, and a 15.6 inch inflight entertainment monitor. The R3 seats in Economy will have a 3-3-3 configuration with a 33-34 inch pitch and a 13.3 inch monitor. Power outlets – AC power, USB Type A & C – and Bluetooth audio connectivity will also be included on both R3 and R4 seats.
